I am inspired to capture the memorable moments in life the way we remember them: often imperfect, magical, and filled with light.
I am also inspired to capture the moments unremembered– moments on Earth that may have gone unnoticed, but deserve to be remembered.
Oftentimes we recall simple things: the way the sun filtered through the trees and felt on our face, the sense of awe we at witnessing a moment of unexpected rare beauty, or the surprising stillness that can be found in observing life with no expectations.

Where others excel at using the camera as a tool of precision (and where I am surely outclassed,) I enjoy using it as a tool of expression.
As Claude Monet, one of my favorite painters, said:
